Black Forest Cake

This was the creation for the Globetrotter's Farewell Party.  Mum and Allan are, as I blog, on a 7 week trip around Europe doing an APT Cruise up the Rhine and Danube, starting in Prague and ending in Paris, then having 3 weeks in England.  As they are to be cruising through the Black Forest area in Bavaria, I thought this a fitting cake:
